From a Cabo trip years ago. I think this was from a funemployment trip when one of my GFs and I spent an extended vakay because we were laid off. LOL! I haven't cracked it open yet, but I'm curious to see if this is still good. I always like picking up beauty items from different countries or areas.

Actually, my new favorite lip balm is...
Aquaphor! I have had some seriously bad chapped lips from the change in weather. And perhaps from some of the new skincare I have been testing out. :( So bad, to the point of painful cracking at the corners. EOS and Softcube were not cutting it to heal and neither did my trusty Palmer's Cocoa Butter Lip Balm. I even put The Honest Company's Healing Balm on my lips and that didn't help.
I'm not a huge fan of petroleum products, but this seriously saved my lips. The plus side to this is it has SPF and an easy to apply tip. I've been slathering this on the daily.
Pros:
-SPF!
-Portable, easy to apply tube
-Repairs chapped/cracked lips
Cons:
-Considered a dirty product on Think Dirty :(
-Considered a dirty product on Think Dirty :(
Would I recommend this to a friend? YAS. See above. My lips were so jacked before and are now back to normal!
Think Dirty recommended these two products as alternatives with cleaner ratings:
Consonant Skincare Ultra Moisturizing Organic Lip Conditioner - $12
Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask - $26
A bit expensive and more than I want to spend on a lip product!

Baby Lips - not so much
I was really hoping to love this product and have read so many great reviews, but this just didn't do it for me. :( I'm always on the lookout for new, good balms for my lips, but was sadly disappointed that this didn't work out. This felt greasy on my lips and I felt like I had to keep reapplying it in order for my lips to feel moisturized. Also, it felt like my lips were peeling, like it wasn't moisturizing enough and often left a gritty feeling across my lips. Instead of keeping this as my go-to product in my purse, its in my just in case stash at work.
From the website:
Why You'll Love It
No more basic lip balm:• Visibly renewed lips and 8-hr hydration
• The secret: Exclusive lip renew formula with SPF 20
• Protects and moisturizes lips for a full 8 hours
• After 4 weeks, lips are visibly renewed and reborn
• 6 varieties
For Best Results
Apply your lipcolor by starting in the center of your upper lip. Work from the center to the outer edges of your lip, following the contours of your mouth. Then glide across the entire bottom lip.Pros:
-Affordable - $2.50 at Wal-mart
-Cute packaging - love the colors!
-Great scent
Cons:
-Didn't work for me :(
-Packaging is cheap - I can forsee the cap cracking. Would be nice to just have this in the usual lip balm package
Would I recommend to a friend
No based off it not working for me.

Cost: Around $3
Would I recommend this to a friend? Yes! Like I said, I'm not a fan of the pot or squeeze tube Carmex!

Evolution Of Smooth Lipbalm
I had tried posting this before 12 AM, but blogger was being a pain in the behind. Its late, but here it is!
I had seen this on Tammy's blog and I had to find it. Sure enough, Evolution Of Smooth was at Wal-Greens. 2 for $6
All organic and NOT tested on animals AND paraben free!
My gf snapped this of me. When I busted this out at a gathering people were asking, "What is that? Is that an egg? Is that balut?" Really guys? Why would I have an egg or balut in my purse? Well, my nephew calls it an egg too and he loved it so I gave him the other one. Hahaha! He even pretends to crack it open like an egg. :D

Einstein Lip Therapy - Hydrating Lip Cream
Wandering the aisles of CVS, enjoying the FREE a/c, I came across this - Einstein LIp Therapy - Hydrating Lip Cream. I thought, "Oooo fancy!" I found this in the skincare aisle and thought I would give it a try. I am not a fan of dipping my finger into a pot of lipbalm or gloss...germ-a-phobe, but why the heck not? I might be missing out on a good thing if I pass it up! This hydrating lip cream has vitamin c beads and helps to restore moisture.

Einstein Cosmetics website:
An intensive moisturizing cream that hydrates and
smoothes lips with nano-particle technology and
yellow Vitamin C beads to gently exfoliate lips and
deliver intensive moisture for that youthful, supple,
healthy appearance.
• Infused with Vitamins A, E and C.
• Restores Moisture to reveal softer, smoother, more supple lips.
• Prevents future damage caused by everyday lip exposure.
• Acts as a base under lip color or gloss to help color glide on smoothly and to prevent the color from bleeding or drying out.
• For best results use with Einstein Lip Therapy™ Cooling Lip Relief treatment.
Darn it! I should have bought the Cooling Lip Relief treatment too! I passed up on that since "cooling" usually means added menthol & my skin issues have been acting up. Including my lips and the skin around my lips and menthol just aggravates it.

I actually use this before bed since there isn't any SPF. Can't burn the smooch! This lip cream is not greasy and leaves my lips smooth. There is no odd scent or flavor. I wish this came in a squeeze tube so I wouldn't have to touch the product, but overall, I like it! I'll have to try and snag the Cooling lip Relief treatment and see how these two work in conjunction with each other.

Lipbalm Grading F: Blistex Deep Renewal
I rarely give products an F. I may dislike some things about a product, but hardly ever just absolutely hate something. Well, I managed to find one!

Blistex Deep Renewal. This lip treatment is supposed to visibly reduce deep & fine lines, improve lip health and vitality, moisturize, protect & renew.
This does have sunscreen in it, which is a plus.
Here is more of a rundown they give you on the back of the packaging regarding some of the ingredients and the benefits.
Hmmmm....I don't think so.
And now my gripe for this product. I actually had this lip balm for a few months and I'm glad I waited to do a review until now. I kept this in my desk to use at work. Well, I found out that this balm does nothing more for me than dry my lips out! I felt no renewal at all, well unless you consider molting lips "renewal," I would rather deflake my lips before going TO work, not AT work. There is something about Blistex products that kind of gets to me. I don't know if its the taste or what, but there is something weird that just doesn't settle well with me. Well, this ended up in the trash. Has anyone else tried this lip balm and had great results? I think I will just stick to my Soft Lips and Natural Ice Lip Balms that never fail me.
