Goodies from BKK

Loves from across the miles. :) Its been awhile since Ms. B and I have exchanged goodies. We have been collecting for some time now and were hoping to see each other in the spring. But plans changed and we had to mail our hauls to each other. Well, her's is still pending shipment. I've been busy and haven't had the chance to stop by the Post Office to ship it off. Looks like she will have to wait until I return from my little trip to Miami. Who knows what I'll find to add in her package down there!

She spoils me so. She knows I love, love, love lippies and always adds in plenty to my gifts.

Here are some other shots of the products she included:

Thank you Ms. B! Be on the look out later this month for your package. Its a big one! Loves!

BKK Haul & very Happy Birthday present from Ms. B!

Ms. B and I recently sent each other overdue packages and in this one she included my birthday prezzie! Wish you could have been here to celebrate girl!

Yay! International mail! :)

Also included in this haul that isn't mentioned below, are a new pair of circle lenses which I haven't had a chance to use yet! I soaked them in Clear Care and then in Aquify and have not touched them yet! Maybe I'll wear them out on Saturday for Round #2 of the Dirty 30. ;) She said that these lenses are more subtle and not so dramatic like some of the other ones that we've seen. Trendy, trendy Asians. Yes, I follow those trends and have a few pairs of those contacts that I wear occasionally. Also, she sent 2 pairs of falsies - one crisscross style and the other in variating long/short. *bats lashes*

Smooth E Babyface Foam Wash - This is great because it is soap free & is gentle! It doesn't suds up which is good since that means there isn't any sodium lauryl sulfate which is an additive that is unneccessary in skincare products!

Mistine Big Eye Waterproor Mascara - I'll try this out sometime after I've gone through my other mascaras. I have a ton of mascara to get through and won't need to buy any soon! Although there are a few that I want to pick up for me and Ms. B! Haha!

Here's what was in this pouch: 2 4U2 Express Lip glosses, Glitz eyeshadow duo, MTi make up base and Glitz Liquid Eyeliner
Glitz Mascara - a cool copper mascara! I'll probably layer on black mascara underneath and finish the tips of my lashes with this.
Swatches of the lipglosses, eyeshadow, make up base and eyeliner.

Guess who is going on my Christmas tree? 4U2 Teddy Love!

AXII Body Speed Chrono Shaping Cream - Miracle in a tube? Hmmm? I'll have to test this out in strategic areas to see if this can smooth and tighten the appearance of unfit areas. Hahah! I would be slathering this all over my body right now.

Natural Collection Tinted Lip Balm - very natural and light

BSC Eyeshadow Quad - Pretty pink & purples! The texture is light & powdery. I would use my UDPP in Sin as a base to add some sparkle.

Natural Collection SunTint Bronzing Pearls - I didn't get to swatch this since you swirl the beads with a brush and apply to your face. I'll include this in an upcoming FOTD.

Facial masks and bath milk

My Birthday Present! Jim Thomson tissue pouch with mirror - This is the most famous brand of Thai silk & is a well known designer brand in Thailand. This is definitely going into the purse!

Thank you, thank you again Ms. B for the goodies and sending your love all the way from Bangkok! xoxox

Last Of The Great April BKK Haul

I thought I should hurry up and finish blogging about my Great April BKK Haul before the next one comes in! Should be any day now and I'm very excited to see what goodies Ms. B has packed in to this package! This haul has been one of the greatest so far and I wish I could have done some EOTD/FOTDs with all of these products already. You'll be seeing these items again in future posts! There was also a Rexona Activereserve anti-perspirant/deodorant sample that I stashed in my car for those moments when I forget to put on some pit stick or need some freshening up. Haha!

4U2 Brilliant Lipstick in 04. A very pretty magenta lipstick that is very pigmented and has a soft finish.

4U2 Diamond Eyeshadow in 42. Beautiful copper shades. She has sent me other colors of this brand and I love them! The downfall of these shadows is that they are soft in texture and have a tendency of breaking during shipment. :\ I was happy to see this duo was intact since she hand carried this package from Bangkok. ;)

IN2IT Waterproof Eye Colour in Striking. This trio is perfect for Fall! Plum, Cream and Navy Blue. I will probably use the Cream with either the Plum or the Navy Blue and not all 3 at the same time. That could change though. Let me play around with them.

Boots No7 Stay Perfect Lip Lacquer in Nectar. Such a gorgeous nude! This really does stay put, even with the thick top coat. I took a sip of water and there was no color transfer at all! This being a long wear lipstick, you will need a good make up remover to get this off.

L'Chear Water Proof Eyeliner. Yes, ENGRISH!
"Sparkle glamours effect let eyes more charming! Super fine eyeliner with exiguous hair can draw the most fashion diamond eye dressing of this year. Easily dram in crinkle eyelid or use on lashes to creat a dreamy flash effect."
I'll probably use this on the tips of my lashes to add some sparkle when I go out. ;)

The cutest Hello Kitty contact lens case EVER! I don't think I can open it because its so darned cute!

BB Creams that I can't wait to try once I I fade back to my pudaw skin tone! I hope these BB creams work well with my skin tone then!

Jelly Lenses!

Here is a shot of my eyeball taken with the Close Up Jelly Lens on my BB Pearl. Pretty cool!
And here is a sicky, sicky me in bed with my cuddle buddy make up next to me. Taken with the Fish Eye Jelly Lens. :p

EOTD: Red Earth Eyeshadow/Primer, Daiso Eyebrow Pencil, Lancome Cils Booster XL & Sephora Atomic Volume Mascara

All new products for this EOTD! I've been looking kind of rough due to illness and really didn't want to do a FOTD. Red Earth Eyeshadow duo & primer, Daiso Eyebrow Pencil, Lancome Cils Booster XL & Sephora Atomic Volume Mascara have made their way to this entry and I wanted to just showcase these items on their own without using any other products.

The Red Earth eyeshadow duo and primer were part of my Christmas prezzie from Ms. B. She noted that the colors were very pretty & the primer was good. I'm not sure about the colors since the back label didn't have the color names, but the shade on the left is a light golden champagne and the color on the right is a dark brown with flecks of gold and red. The primer is very light and blends smoothly on to my eyelid. I haven't gotten to test the wear of the primer since I'm just at home, but will revisit this compact to see how well this holds up during the day.

I actually wore this throughout dinner at home and did notice a bit of creasing. I'll have to try this again after washing and prepping my face. It is a great idea to put a primer along with shadows, so I'm hopeful that there will be better results!

I picked up this eyebrow pencil from Daiso for $2 after my cousin said it worked pretty well. Haha! We spent about an hour in Daiso buying JUNK one afternoon, but some of that junk turned into treasure! I've been using my Anastasia Brow Powder and Brow Gel faithfully for the past year, but what I like about this pencil is that its quick, easy and sets my brows nicely for only $2!

Here are all the products used below. I'll highlight the differences in pictures-

I smoothed the primer all over the lid & applied the champagne colored eyeshadow all over. I worked the dark brown shadow from the outer-v across the crease and contour, concentrating more of the color in the outer-v. I dabbed a little bit of the champagne in the inner corner of my eye and the middle of the lid. The flash washes out most of the details :\

Left brow au naturel.

Right brow filled in with Daiso Eyebrow Pencil. I used small, quick strokes to fill in my brow and used a spoolie to blend.

Left eye with only Sephora Atomic Volume Mascara. 2x coats on the upper and 1x coat on the lower.
I liked the results from this mascara. The wand had thin bristles that were easy to grab on to my lashes and build.

Right eye with Lancome Cils Booster XL + Sephora Atomic Volume Mascara. 2x coats of the Booster and Mascara and 1x coat on the lower.
I could really tell the difference the primer made! This created more volume without being too clumpy.

You can tell the difference that the Lancome Cils Booster XL makes by creating more noticeable volume in my lashes. While this isn't a product I would call necessary, this would be nice to use during nights out or special occasions when I'm too lazy apply falsies. While I am a pro at applying strip lashes, sometimes you just don't want to deal with it. I would really like to try some other primers to compare the difference.
