Another FF Coupon?!

Damn it! Now there's a Bath and Body Works FF coupon? So evil! I want to get some Twisted Peppermint soap and lotion because that is my absolute favorite winter smell and then the whole Lambie line is too damn cute. Just what I need, another gd blanket! Hahaha! Now did you think I was really capable of letting this sale pass me by? I don't think so! I am way over my slush fund budget and really should not buy anything for the rest of November. Ridiculous. Well, 30% off was calling my name so I picked up a couple of things! And its not eyeshadow for once! ffh30 until the 17th I believe!


I picked up the 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in Ozone. $16 Per the website -

Tips: Apply Ozone (our clear shade) outside the lip line to prevent feathering, or inside lips to keep gloss in place without leaving a line. Ozone also works wonders as a blend and repair tool!

Convinced! I love the 2nd tip of using on the inside of the lips to keep gloss in place. This may also work with just lipstick that you don't have a matching liner for. This should be interesting to try.

I know, I know! I have enough damn brushes already! What caught my eye is the fact that the bristles are taklon! The handles and the zippered bag are pretty darn cute too! Oh and I know I just bought that EcoTools brush set too, but who knows what's going to happen to that. Haha! I do wish this set included their Shadow Brush in it as well.

ALMAY® bright eyes® liner/highlighter duo in Soft Black/Champagne

I was convinced to buy this eyeliner after Ms. B asked if I had seen this or heard about it. Well, I did pick up an older version of this liner at Big Lots and liked it, but didn't love it. This on the other hand, I do love!

What the website says:

Instantly refreshes and enhances your eyes with a unique natural complex of marine extracts, white tea and light reflectors. The eyeliner works double duty to softly define eyes, while the highlighter illuminates the brow bone and corners for a lifting effect.
Hypoallergenic. Ophthalmologist tested.

The liner does not tug while applying! I was surprised! The highlighter was creamy and easily blendable. I was able to line my lid and waterline with ease and had just minimal smudging. Overall, I really like this liner and would repurchase. Ms. B will be getting one too! One thing I wish was different was the actual packaging. The older version of this that I have is a twist up automatic pencil that's a bit more sleek.

FOTD: Violette

Shades of purple are very flattering for those with brown eyes. I remember one of my first eyeshadow palettes, it was Wet'n Wild LoL!, had a purple eyeshadow in it that I loved! Some girls thought my eyeshadow was too bright, but I didn't care cuz the color was awesome! I had been lemming this NYX trio in Purple/Deep Purple/Prune on CherryCulture.com for the longest time and was finally able to get it when it came back in stock. The colors are very complimentary of each other! This was actually a FOTD that I did awhile ago. I have a few more pending! My skin is just bad right now. Stress, not enough rest and STRESS!

Someone stop me!

I have placed 3 separate orders on Sephora.com and even made an appearance to the Bellevue Square store yesterday. Although, I did manage to walk out of the store empty handed. That was because I already bought a Viva Glam lip palette at Nordstrom. LoL! Enough...no more Sephora for me for now. I have already spent too much. Wasteful biatch! I need to be saving my money! Yves Saint Laurent - GLOSS PUR BlackPure Lip Shine Gloss. I know what you're thinking, black lip gloss? But the way Pink used this gloss with a deep red color was absolutely smashing!

NARS blush in Super Orgasm. I didn't jump on the bandwagon with the original Orgasm blush. I opted for Deep Throat instead. But when Super Orgasm made its debut and I swatched it, I loved it! Its more pink and there are gold speckles. Its not as glittery as you may think since they do eventually fall off. I can't wait to see this on my cheeks!

Sephora Friends & Family!

I used it this AM at 12:30! Haha! I couldn't sleep, so why not shop! I ended up just getting the Urban Decay 24/7 Travel Size Set Of 5 in Velvet Rope and Philosophy's Red Velvet Cake Lip Shine Ornament. I may end up getting some other stuff later! :D

L’Occitane Amande Lotion with Milk Concentrate

I loved this lotion after using some of my girl Cat’s one night before going out. Not only does it have a great almond scent, but its non-greasy and really penetrates my skin! I managed to pick this bonus size of the lotion at the Seattle Premium Outlets L’Occitane store and even got an extra 10% discount that day! While the price tag sale of $42 is pretty steep, you only use a small amount as opposed to several pumps of some other lotion. Not only is the scent great but it does state that it has firming properties! As directed, I apply this lotion from bottom to top in circular motions, concentrating on areas like the thighs, stomach and bust. Its not a wonder treatment, but it is a nice treat to slather this on after my shower! I use this sparingly now since it is pretty damn expensive!

Possibly Lost: Package from Ms. B :(

I'm soooooo sad! I have been expecting a package from Ms. B in Thailand and now I think its possibly lost. She sent it out almost a month ago and I haven't seen it yet. I even called the post office to see if any parcels are waiting to be picked up, but nothing. *sigh* I haven't given up all hope yet girl! I'm waiting for that pleasant surprise when I get home from work. My next packages to her, including her Christmas present, will be hand delivered by her BF's sister. No chances taken! I have always had confidence in the postal system, especially here in the states since my Daddy works at the PO. From now on, I'm going to pay a little bit more to include a certificate of mailing so we can track the package. ***fingers crossed*** I am hoping that maybe it got delayed in customs, so let's just keep hoping it will show up!

Hiatus...sort of!

I know, I have been MIA the past couple of weeks. #1 because of work. #2 because it was Halloween last week! I have just been so tired when I get home from work. I mostly just surf online when I get home and then pass out. You probably won't see many weekday updates from me, but I'll try and make it up by posting more than one entry per day! :) I have quite a few EOTD/FOTD's waiting to be posted and some new products to review!

EcoTools Bamboo 5-piece Brush Set with Bamboo Cup

Such a craptastic picture, I know. I'm on my new lappy and am too lazy to upload the pics I took of this earlier. I'll do a formal review on this later, but just wanted to give you guys a sneak peek at what I found at Wal-greens! For only $9.99 I picked up this EcoTools 5-piece brush set that includes a bamboo cup to hold the brushes! This is more practical for me instead of the brush case since I already have a MAC brush roll for travel. I'll do a full review on these later! :)

For Ate/Manang Jeni - FOTD (Pic Heavy!)

A little bit late, but here is the FOTD for you! I was going to attempt this last night and post, but I ended up getting another migraine and sleeping. Don't mind the tired look - I just woke up not too long before doing this. Haha!

I told Ate/Manang Jeni that I would do a look for her to copy for her cousin's debut on Sunday. I wouldn't be able to do her make up due to scheduling conflict. :( Her dress had a pattern with emerald green and a deep purple and decided to add both colors in the eyeshadows used and keep the lip defined, but neutral.

I first started off prepping my face with concealer and mineral foundation. If I'm using dark colors then I will only apply just a light layer of each and do another follow up after I'm done.


So tired looking! LoL! I got some bags under my eyes. BAH!

I used a pearly shadowstick all over my lid. This will help shadows adhere and show up on your lid.

I used a light lavender eyeshadow on top of the shadow stick.

I applied this on 2/3 of my lid.

I also extended a little bit of the lavender shadow to the inner corners of my eyes.

Next I used a charcoal gray shadow on the outer-v

Dab a little bit of color on the outer-v. Build up your color instead of starting off with too much on your brush.

Then extend somc color to the contour and crease of your eyelid. Press the brush against your lid and feel for your eye. In a windsheild wiping motion, take the color across this area.




I used an aquamarine shadow in the outer half of the crease.



Then I took a violet pigment to use on the inner half of the crease.

Blend the the aquamarine and violet together so there are no harsh lines.

Now highlight your brow bown with a shimmery shell eyeshadow.

I also blended the highlight over some of the gray to soften the color.


I used a gel liner, but you can also use a liquid or pencil liner if you prefer. Keep the line clean and wing it out slightly.

Fill in your brow with an appropriate color that suites your haircolor. You just want to fill in enough to frame your face and not too dark.


I didn't use any mascara since I was on my way to get my eyelash fill done. Use 2 coats of black mascara on your top lashes. You may do your bottom if you like, but I know you'll be running around being coordinator and it may run!

This is optional, but I thought I would add it in. I contoured my cheeks using a sculpting powder. You can also achieve this with some bronzer.

Start from your hairline and work the color down your cheek. Its important to do it in this direction because if you do it the other way around, it can just look like a dirty cheek. LoL!


Suck in those cheeks! Haha! You like my nostril and fish lippies? :P


A nice rose colored blush on the apples of your cheeks will give you a nice pop of color!



Next apply some highlighter. If you don't have one for your face, you can always use a shimmery shadow.

I apply it at the tops of my cheeks .

And just above my brow.

For the lips, I chose a nude pencil and a mauve lipgloss.

Line your lips and fill in with the liner. The all over liner on your lips will help your color stay on and wear better.

Then apply gloss on top of that and you're done!
