Mark Review: Get A Tint, Chic Duet & Make It Go Away

Hello, hello! Once again it has been awhile since I've done updates and I really need to change that! I definitely owe this gal a post that is over a month overdue.

My girl Samilu has recently become a Mark representative and has shared some products that she loves and thought I would too! If you are interested in any of the products listed, please check out her site and let her know mizleilei sent you. Samilu's Mark Boutique

I can't help but mention that Sam also makes jewelry! Please check out her etsy site as well. :) Camarilla Designs

Hello loot! I was happily surprised to receive a package before I left on vacation and couldn't wait to tear into it. I had to!

Sam sent some samples along with the Get A Tint, Chic Duet and Make It Go Away. I haven't tried the samples yet, but I have tried and have been using the products. I have not tried any Mark products until now. I have heard of the brand and know that L.C. is a spokesmodel. Yes, I am a Hills fan. Haha! I checked out her boutique and saw some really fun products that are definitely affordable and fun.

Get A Tint - Tinted Moisturizer Lotion SPF 15 $8
Desribed as, "A lightweight, oil-free moisturizer with just enough color to even out your skin tone and give the appearance of a healthy glow. The unique skin-balancing formula hydrates while it helps prevent shine in those spots prone to excess oil. 1.6 fl. oz."
I was afraid that the Honey color was going to be too dark for me, but after my sun in Cabo, the shade is perfect for my summer skin! While its kind of weird for me NOT to moisturize before putting on make up, I love how I can get light coverage with SPF! I do love my golden brown deliciousness, but I always wear sunscreen! Get A Tint is available in 4 shades and is good for light to medium skin tones.

Pros: Lightweight and natural, SPF 15, did not irritate my skin and has no weird smell.

Cons: Limited amount of shades, this does rub off easily so be mindful when wearing light colors.

Sorry for the blurry pics! This is the actual lip color on its own without the gloss.

This is the color mixed in with the gloss.

Chic Duet Color and Shine Lip Gloss $6
Described as, "Destined to become your main squeeze, this high-shine gloss features innovative tube-in-a-tube packaging, allowing glassy clear gloss and colored gloss to combine. 0.40 fl. oz."

I'm a sucker for lippies and you can always count on me to have more than one stashed in my purse. Chic Duet is a great combo of color and gloss in one. Sparks Fly is a pretty, shimmery berry that applies quite sheer than what it may look like in the tube. The gloss tastes like watermelon...yes I eat my gloss off my lips! If it smells or tastes weird, I won't use it. It took awhile before I could get any of the color out of the tube since the clear gloss was full. The directions say to squeeze in the middle for a mix of gloss and color or squeeze at the top to get mostly color. I found out the opposite works to get color by squeezing from the bottom of the tube. Chic Duet is available in 4 shades - a nude, brown, berry and pink shade.

Pros: Combines both color and gloss in one, tastes great, very natural color

Cons: No SPF (not always found in glosses though)

Make It Go Away - Makeup Removing Wipes $8
Described as, "Whether you’re exhausted after a long night out or sweaty after a workout, these towelettes – saturated with a gentle cleanser – are a great substitute for your regular face wash and can even be used to remove eye makeup. Pack of 30 wipes."

I brought these to Cabo and actually kept them in my bed. Not on the nightstand, but IN the bed. You already know how that goes when the party girl comes stumbling back home. ;) My skin is sensitive and I have to be very careful about the types of wipes I choose and luckily, I did not have a reaction to these! The gentle cleanser was effective enough to get off my UD 24/7 pencil from my lids and we know how difficult that can be to remove! There was no bad smell and these left my skin feeling clean without any tightness. Keep these at your bedside or in your "hoe bag" when you have to wipe away remants of what you looked like last night. Haha!

Pros: Cleans well and leaves no residue, a steal for 8 bux for a pack of 30!

Cons: Thinner than most makeup removing wipes

Overall, I am really impressed with the quality and affordability of Mark products. This is a great brand for women of all ages that not only offers skincare and cosmetics, but clothing, shoes and jewelry! Thank you again to my girl Samilu! Please visit her Mark and Camarilla Designs stores when you get a chance. :)
