Covergirl Outlast Lipstain in Wild Berry Wink

Gotta love the buy one, get one promos! I found this at Target and finally had a good excuse to try this product out since it was buy one, get one!

What the Covergirl website says:

The water-based colorants of Outlast Lipstain give lips a beautiful, lightweight flush of color that won't come off, lasting for hours without the heavy look or feel of an ordinary lipstick. Its pen-like precision applicator makes it easy to define your lips-just draw on color without any hassle!

This color is more RED than a berry color. I have been into darker shades for lips lately, but this is actually pretty bright. This comes out to be a nice orange based red which is suitable for warm skintones. I'll have to try this while eating and see if I can tell if the color becomes lighter if the lips have more contact with things.

Easy pen applicator and the lid has another chamber around the tip to help prevent it from drying out.

It felt like I was drawing on my lips with a fruity scented marker like the Mr. Sketch Markers from my childhood. I was able to draw a precise line on my lips and fill in easily.

Not exactly transfer resistant at first since there was product left after blotting my lips on my hand. I would like to try some other Covergirl colors and possibly some other Lipstains as well like the one by Mark which has the same type of marker applicator. I'll save this red for the Holidays since my latest liking has been deep plum/violet pouts. :)

I have this one too, it is pretty long lasting if you let it completely dry before playing with it.

The fact that it's not a berry color did disappoint me though.

You look great with red lips. =)

I love CG lipstain and I have this one too! haha! I agree with the comment above, you do need to let it dry completely first. It lasts all day for me. The next time I go to the states, Imma stock up on these... but maybe in some other not-so-bold colors :p
