Fall Nails! Back to darks

I haven't posted any pictures in the past few days, so here is finally a post to make up! Its fall and with that comes richer, darker hued nails. One of my ALL TIME favorite colors is OPI's Lincoln Park After Dark. A deep purple that's just a smidge away from being black, but NOT! I never gave in to the popular black nailpolish. I did used to do black french tips when I did have acrylics.

I have been very happy with this combo of products! My nails are back to being natural and SHORT! I do miss having my long hooker nails at times though! Haha! I file my nails, push back the cuticles and then buff it down smooth. 1 coat of Sally Hansen's Hard As Nails, 2 coats of OPI color and 1 coat of OPI Top Coat.

I am chip free for about 4 days! I use my hands frequently, so its surprising that there is minimal chipping! The trick is to apply top coat every other day. I usually change my nail color every week when its a dark color because the wear is just too obvious.

Just a lil bit messy around the cuticles, but not too bad!

Lincoln Park in the Dark is one of my favorites too! It's just the perfect dark shade without being goth.

Right now I'm obsessed with OPI's grayish You Don't Know Jacques and also Chanel's Gold Fiction. (I can't believe I spent that much on polish. Yikes!)
